Basic Directions
SECTION OF TRAIL BETWEEN FDT #667 AND FDT #701. 1. From Colorado Springs, take Hwy 24, through Woodland Park, to Divide. Turn south on Hwy 67. Drive 4 miles. Turn left on Forest Service Rd. #383. Approximately 2.5 miles down the road is the Crags Campground and trailhead. Parking is available at the east end of the campground and this is where the trail begins.
Description
Foot and horse trail. Motorized vehicles are prohibited. This trail is a moderately difficult 1.5 mile trail with an elevation change of 800 feet.
This trail leads to "The Crags", a group of rock pinnacle formations. This is a good cross country ski trail.
