Lodore Canyon - Green River - 5 Day The Green River is an awesome stretch that cuts right into the great Uintah uplift. There's a flat, open valley upstream, while downriver you'll see huge stone gates, 1000 feet high, that appear to have split the mountains in two: The Gates of Lodore. You raft next to sheer canyon walls and challenge rapids with names like "Hell's Half Mile" and "Disaster Falls".

Yampa Bench - 2 Day Bike Forty-six miles of dirt road winds along a mile wide sandstone bench trapped between the Blue Mountains and the Yampa River Gorge.
