Mad Creek Loop is a short ride which climbs steeply for a mile and a half, before descending on dirt double and single track back to the start of the loop.

Head west from Steamboat Springs on Highway 40, then turn north on Highway 129 towards Clark. The trail begins at the Mad Creek parking lot, off County Road 129.
