Description

The San Miguel River Trail is a short but enjoyable municipal pathway that runs through the heart of the town of Telluride and down along the San Miguel River. The San Miguel River trail is a perfect choice for families and beginner riders and those just getting used to the elevation in the Telluride area.

The San Miguel River Trail becomes singletrack once it has left the downtown area of Telluride and enters into the forest. The trail splits here into an upper and lower section of trail, which connect in a lolli-pop style loop before emptying back onto the San Miguel River Trail in the opposite direction.
