Basic Directions

Dinosaur National Monument straddles the Utah/Colorado border in the northwest corner of Colorado. The bulk of the canyon country area lies in Colorado. About 25% of the park, including the entire quarry area, is in Utah. The nearest substantial towns are Rangely, about 25 miles to the south, or Craig, roughly 50 miles east.

Airports

Skywest Airlines (800-453-9417) provides daily air service to Vernal from Salt Lake City (UT). Walker Field Airport in Grand Junction (CO), about a two hour drive from the monument, offers connecting flights to all major hubs in the western US.
