Yampa River Legacy State Park

Located in the Yampa Valley west of Steamboat Springs, Elkhead Reservoir and Yampa River Legacy State Park offer visitors a wonderful area to enjoy Colorado's outdoors. Eight public access sites along a 172-mile stretch of the river allow access to water, and the Elkhead Reservoir is also available for boating and other lake activities.
