  Steamboat Springs is 157 miles northwest of Denver. Take I-70 west to Silverthorne, CO Hwy 9 north to Kremmling, then US 40 west to Steamboat Springs. From Grand Junction, the trip is 193 miles: take I-70 east to Rifle, CO Hwy 13 north to Craig, and US 40 east to Steamboat Springs.
