West Jefferson Trail

This trail sees heavy use on summer weekends. Be alert for all types of fellow trail users. A loop can be done using the Colorado Trail.

Potable water is available at Jefferson Area Campgrounds. Backcountry water is available along most of the trail.



 Directions to Trailhead

Southwest of Denver

Access is either from the Lodgepole Campground, next to the Host Site or from the north end of Jefferson Creek Campground. Trailhead parking is located adjacent to Jefferson Creek Campground.

Both Campgrounds are located along FDR 37, north of Jefferson, CO.
