Spring Creek Trail

This is a relatively leisurely trail if you have a 4WD vehicle with lift and can be a bit hairy otherwise. There's a "rock garden" that quite lives up to its name, after all.

From Denver- Take I-70 west to Downieville (exit 234).
- Head westward on CR 308 for 1.1 miles. You'll cross under I-70.
- Take a left on Alvarado Road.
- Cross the bridge and take an immediate left - you'll be on the trail.
