Mesa Verde National Park - Hiking



Knife Edge Trail Intermediate
 3 mile roundtrip 1.5 to 2 hours
This trail provides good views of the Montezuma Valley, and is an excellent place to watch sunsets.
Petroglyph Loop Trail Difficult
 2.8 mile loop 1.5 to 2 hours
This is the only trail in the park open to visitors where you may view petroglyphs.
Point Lookout Trail Difficult
 4.6 mile roundtrip 2.5 to 3 hours
The trail provides excellent views of both Montezuma and Mancos valleys, as well as the surrounding countryside.
Prater Ridge Trail Difficult
 7.8 miles round-trip
Soda Canyon Overlook Trail Easy
 3 mile roundtrip 1.5 to 2 hours
An easy walk to the canyon edge.
Spruce Canyon Loop Trail Difficult
 2.1 mile loop 1 to 1.5 hours
