This trail connects two USFS trails (Chicken Creek Trail and the Colorado Trail), as well as two other in-park trails, providing a variety of distance and difficulty options. Trails at Mancos offer glimpses of Jackson Gulch Reservoir and the La Plata Mountain Range. Flora and fauna along the trails include large ponderosa, columbine, deer, elk and black bear.
