Jefferson Creek

The entire watershed on Forest Service Lands is managed under the National Recreation Fee Demo program by Canyon Enterprises, Inc., under concession to the US Forest Service. A daily fee of $4.00 is charged to enter the area. Seasons passes are available from Canyon Enterprises for $25.00 per year. These passes are also good at all Pike & San Isabel National Forests, Cimarron & Comanche National Grasslands Rec. Fee Demo Areas. Easy access and plenty of camping facilities make this small stream an excellent weekend destination for the family. The watershed also contains several large beaver ponds. Lake fishing is also available at Jefferson Lake, near the headwaters of the watershed. For more information on this and other streams and lakes on the South Park Ranger District and surrounding Park County
