Greeley Colorado - Biking

Although close to the Rocky Mountains and their rougher trails, Greeley has plenty of routes through a gentler cityscape. With two rivers and a lake within its bounds, Greeley is scenic in itself.

Foothills Mountain Biking Trail 10 mile round-trip 1 to 2 hours
The Foothills Trail follows the east shoreline of the Horsetooth Reservoir, offering great viewpoints of both the reservoir and Fort Collins.

Horsetooth Rock Mountain Biking Trail Advanced 5.5 miles round-trip 1 hour
This trail is a steep climb up to Horsetooth Rock, a large formation that is fun to scramble around on. From the top are great views of Horsetooth Mountain Park, Horsetooth Reservoir, and the Fort Collins area.

Mill Creek Mountain Biking Trail Advanced
Intermediate
13.3 mile loop 1.5 to 2 hours
This trail is both physically and technically challenging, climbing up the slopes of Horsetooth Mountain and plunging down steep singletrack. From the trail are scenic views of Horsetooth Reservoir, Fort Collins and the plains of eastern Colorado.

Riverside Park Walking Trail Beginner 3 miles
This short, paved trail may not be more than a quick work out for most bikers, but it has excellent views of the lake.

The Poudre River Trail Corridor Beginner 19 miles
From Island Grove (or 11th Avenue) to the Weld County line, this multi-use trail runs by the banks of the Poudre River.
