Goodwin Trail

The trail is 3.5 miles total and follows Goodwin Creek to Goodwin Lakes. The trail is moderate for hiking.

Location: 50 miles west of Pueblo
Setting: Mountainous
Difficulty: Intermediate
Length: 7 mile roundtrip
Elevation: 2,000 feet
Trailhead Elevation: 9,500 feet
Time to Allow: 3.5 to 4 hours
Season: Summer - Fall

 Directions to Trailhead

Take Highway 69 south from Westcliffe (Westcliffe is 50 miles west of Pueblo) to County Road 140 (Schoolfield Lane). Turn right on CR 140 and follow it to the Comanche / Venable Trailhead. Follow the Rainbow Trail north for less than a mile to the Goodwin Trail.
