Elkhorn Mountain and Stock Driveway is an out-of-the-way loop trail passes through picturesque groves of aspen and clambers over Elkhorn Mountain. The road begins a few miles north of Steamboat Lake, and travels almost to Wyoming and back through the Routt National Forest. A few steep and bumpy sections should not be a challenge for someone with prior 4WD experience.
