Basic Directions
From HWY 93 towards Golden, turn left on Washington Street. Take Washington Street to 1st Street and turn left. Follow 1st Street until taking a right on Partridge Cr. which will take you to Ptarmigan Street which will turn into Perry Pkwy. Follow Perry to a dirt road leading to the parking lots and the trail head.
Description
Located just next to Golden, Colorado, Table Mountain is a very popular destination for weekend warriors and the like. There are a lot of bolted beginner and intermediate routes which make the area swell with people on the weekends but also make it a really fun and laid back place to climb. Almost all the routes top out which makes top-roping really easy here too.
The rock at Table Mountain is a really solid basalt which is great for just about everything. This is also a really good place to get that first 5.10 or .11 since the climbs tend to be a bit over-rated. Enjoy the fun scenic climbs along the Rockies found here and don't forget to come back for more.
