Description

The Swan River section of the Colorado Trail gives riders the opportunity to experience a section of the best that the 400+ mile long Colorado Trail has to offer plus a bonus singletrack downhill to boot! The trail runs through the Swan Valley drainage

The Swan River section of the Colorado Trail starts in thick pine forest along the Swan River and the North Fork of the Swan River. The ride then climbs steeply, almost 1000 vertical feet, on singletrack up to and above the tree line. Views become expansive in this area as the ride navigates through alpine meadows and drops into a smooth and fast singletrack downhill back to the valley.

Riders can access different roadways and trails to descend from this ride. There are several intersections along the way with gravel roadways and other trails. In this instance, a trail map is very handy and will eliminate confusion.

In addition, riders should be prepared with a stocked repair kit and a first aid kit.

Visit Page, Arizona Visit Page, Arizona Visit Page, Arizona
Some places are famous. Others are vast. Page, Arizona is your doorway to both — and the Center of the Grand Circle of National Parks. Begin with the icons that earned the world’s attention: Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, and Antelope Canyon. Then stay longer. From here, guided journeys into Navajo Nation reveal landscapes shaped by culture and story. Rainbow Bridge rises from the canyon floor. Vermilion Cliffs glow at sunset. Buckskin Gulch winds for miles. Grand Staircase-Escalante unfolds to the north, while Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon lie within reach. Page itself is intentionally small. What surrounds it is anything but. Choose guided adventure or quiet exploration. Seek luxury or solitude. Return each evening to comfortable lodging, thoughtful dining, local shops, breweries, and golf with unforgettable views. This is not just a stop along the way. It is the place to begin — at the Center of the Grand Circle of National Parks.
