From Stone Mountain Lodge you can relax and enjoy the small town charm of Lyons Colorado. Go to the old fashioned ice cream shop for a malt, browse the fabulous antique shops, take a walking tour of the historic buildings, and have dinner at one of the wonderful local restaurants.

At Stone Mountain Lodge, hiking, fishing, horseshoes and volleyball are all right there. Fish in our duck pond, or access the Saint Vrain River just steps away. Hike up our mountain which abuts Boulder County Open Space, or from various close-by trailheads. Or, in summer, just relax at our pool.

Fun, family and pet friendly, affordable and convenient, Stone Mountain Lodge is ideal for families, reunions and outdoor weddings (see Groups). Kids love the pool, pond and the room to explore. You'll love walking your dog up the trail and watching the eagles fly from the red cliffs. Enjoy our 2 bedroom cabin with whirlpool tub, stay in a comfortable room, or set up your RV or tent. Stone Mountain Lodge can please both you and your budget.

Just a 20 minute scenic drive brings you to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Here you can experience the majestic beauty of the Rocky Mountains at one of the most popular national parks in the country. You can also enjoy the numerous gift shops, restaurants and boutiques that Estes Park has to offer.

For more excitement, Boulder, Colorado is an easy 16 miles away in the opposite direction, offering the Pearl Street Mall with its street performers, the University of Colorado, concerts, plays and the energy of a cosmopolitan town.

Whatever you choose to do, the serenity of Stone Mountain Lodge and our friendly staff will be there for you.

Grand Lake Grand Lake Grand Lake
Rocky Mountain National ParkAt the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake is the deepest natural lake in Colorado, dipping to 265 feet. Fed by high mountain runoff, the lake is clear and pristine. In the summer, you can rent a boat, bring your own or simply enjoy the gentle lapping of the waves from the sandy shore. Grand Lake connects with Shadow Mountain Lake via a canal, and just down the road is Lake Granby, the second largest body of water in Colorado.
