Discover Salt River!

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community invites you to experience their heritage of hospitality. Located just 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Salt River is neighbored by the cities of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Fountain Hills.

With two distinct backgrounds and cultures, the Community is comprised of two Native American tribes: the “Akimel O’Odham” (River People) and the “Xalychidom Piipaash” (People who live toward the water), also known as the Pima and Maricopa. Both tribes are distinctive in their traditional ways, but share the same cultural values.

Today, Salt River maintains its cultural ties to the land and continues to thrive with the development of many enterprises and partnerships, at the heart of which, is the Talking Stick Entertainment District.

Talking Stick Entertainment District is Arizona’s premier entertainment destination. Enjoy numerous attractions, festivals, and spring training baseball games as well as shopping and dining options galore! Complimentary trolley service is available October thru April.

If you choose to extend your stay with us, play outside of the Entertainment District continues at Casino Arizona and with Phoenix Rising soccer. Our history and culture can be further explored at the Huhugam Ki Museum.

Explore, play, stay, and Discover Salt River.
