Description

1/2 mile from highway noise, at the end of the road, where a hiking trail starts. All of our 17 cottages are deluxe, very well maintained, and very clean. All of the cottages have fireplaces, cable TV, large windows, porches and patios. Some have decks. Each cottage has its own picnic area complete with a charcoal grill, picnic table and lawn furniture.

The kitchens are very well equipped, and all have microwave ovens. The bathrooms are very nice and all have a combination tub/shower. There is a very well equipped playground. While we are in a secluded location within Rocky Mountain National Park, it is only a 10 minute drive to the center of the town of Estes Park. Small pets are welcomed, but we do not allow large dogs. Over three fourths of our guests have stayed with us before, and many return year after year. Because of this, we strongly recommend advance reservations. We are open late May through September. Minimum stay of three nights.

Grand Lake Grand Lake Grand Lake
Rocky Mountain National ParkAt the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park, Grand Lake is the deepest natural lake in Colorado, dipping to 265 feet. Fed by high mountain runoff, the lake is clear and pristine. In the summer, you can rent a boat, bring your own or simply enjoy the gentle lapping of the waves from the sandy shore. Grand Lake connects with Shadow Mountain Lake via a canal, and just down the road is Lake Granby, the second largest body of water in Colorado.
