Description

This tour provides a great opportunity to spend quality time in seven National Parks (Zion, Bryce, Capital Reef, Arches, Canyonlands, Mesa Verde, and the Grand Canyon), plus Monument Valley and Antelope Canyon. The tour involves driving over 2,000 miles of beautiful mountains, deserts, and mountain valleys, and includes two of America’s most scenic highways.

We begin and end the tour in Las Vegas and visit the states of Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado, as well as pass through three Native American reservations. Our guides are the best in the area and provide a comprehensive overview of the history, geology, plant life, and culture of the West. The owner, Ron, is a distant relative of Butch Cassidy, a native of Utah, and you will hear several stories of “Uncle Butch” as we conduct our tour. We have a great love and appreciation for the places visited, and we strive to share our enthusiasm with our clients.

There is opportunity to walk on a number of trails in the parks visited. Some of the trails can be strenuous and, for those who want, we will suggest trails to explore and even go with you when possible. If walking is not for you, we can easily accommodate your needs as well with optional activities.

We tour during the spring, summer and fall and will experience different temperatures so please dress accordingly. Also, if you want to do some walking, please have shoes or boots that are designed for dirt and rock trails.

This is an eight-night, nine-day tour and offers 8 breakfasts, 2 lunches, and 3 dinners. Key activities include: Large-screen movie at Zion National Park; four-hour Narrow-Gauge Railroad ride from Durango to Silverton, Colorado; dinner and entertainment at the Navajo Village; dinner and beer at a microbrewery in Moab; Navajo-led Monument Valley back-country tour and lunch; Navajo-led Antelope Canyon tour; and, your choice of either a two-and-one-half-hour Navajo Tapestry Lake Powell boat ride or a float trip down a 14-mile section of the Colorado River. Lodging is in above-average hotels, and we use small deluxe motor coaches, vans or Suburbans for transportation, depending upon the number of tour participants.

We look forward to touring with you!!!

Visit Page, Arizona Visit Page, Arizona Visit Page, Arizona
Some places are famous. Others are vast. Page, Arizona is your doorway to both — and the Center of the Grand Circle of National Parks. Begin with the icons that earned the world’s attention: Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, and Antelope Canyon. Then stay longer. From here, guided journeys into Navajo Nation reveal landscapes shaped by culture and story. Rainbow Bridge rises from the canyon floor. Vermilion Cliffs glow at sunset. Buckskin Gulch winds for miles. Grand Staircase-Escalante unfolds to the north, while Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon lie within reach. Page itself is intentionally small. What surrounds it is anything but. Choose guided adventure or quiet exploration. Seek luxury or solitude. Return each evening to comfortable lodging, thoughtful dining, local shops, breweries, and golf with unforgettable views. This is not just a stop along the way. It is the place to begin — at the Center of the Grand Circle of National Parks.
