Description

We are located on the prairie in northeast Colorado, 1/2 mile off Interstate 76, at the edge of the city of Sterling, Colorado.

Our warm days and cool quiet evenings are well suited for camping. We have some of the most spectacular prairie sunsets God ever made! Camp with us and get the rest you need after a long hard day on the road. You will get a great nights sleep.

We can accommodate tents, vans, pop-ups, trailers, 5th wheels, class C and Class A RV's. Come stay and relax only 5 minutes from shopping, golfing, dining, and entertainment. A beautiful lake for warm water fishing, water skiing, and sailing is only 20 minutes away.

Our sites are mostly shaded, level, pull-thrus and have full hook-ups. Our tent area (the grove) is an open grove of trees. We have an area with "electric only" that will accept tents, popups, and vans. Our main loop features long pull thru sites with water, 30 amp electricity, and sewer and can accommodate long RV's.

Our facilities include a large swimming pool, multi-purpose room, playground, horse shoes, laundromat, showers and restrooms (our shower and restroom facilities are as nice as you will find anywhere). We have some very cool Pedal Karts for rent. Click on our "rates and events" link at the bottom of the page to see our calendar of special events and theme weekends. In our store you can find beverages, ice, groceries, ice cream, propane, RV supplies, and a great selection of Colorado gifts.

Buffalo Hills Campground can accommodate a single tent camper, a camping club, or family reunion; please call and ask about additional services available for groups. We can arrange catering of all kinds to make us your one-stop group facility.

Come stay with us for a day or a week. Play mini-golf, watch the wildlife and relax in the quiet of the western Prairie. Call, write, or E-mail today - the sunsets are on us!
