DescriptionThis scenic route traces the history of Creede's silver mining district through the rugged high mountains of the San Juans. Interpretive signs and a guidebook relate much of the history of these storied mountain canyons.
A 4WD vehicle is required for the final two miles of this loop; however, turnaround points are provided for passenger vehicles.
Most of the historic attractions along this route require you to get out of your car.
