Located at 7,150 feet above sea level, the Arboretum at Flagstaff is dedicated to helping visitors understand the unique environment of the Colorado Plateau. You can explore 200 acres of gardens and natural habitats with over 2,500 plant species representing everything from high desert to alpine tundra.
New program called the The AZ Wildlife Upclose program which features native species of birds, reptiles, and mammals up close with wildlife educators from the Adobe Mountain Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, May through September. FREE with admission.

The Arboretum is located 3.8 miles south of Route 66 on Woody Mountain Road, on the west side of Flagstaff. The last portion of Woody Mountain Road is unpaved, but suitable for all vehicles.
