Miracle Rock Recreation Site is located in the high desert, among piñon-juniper trees overlooking the scenic Little Dolores River Valley. A short 1/2 mile long trail leads from the recreation site to "Miracle Rock", a large sandstone outcropping perched on a cliff edge. There is opportunity for hiking and horseback riding on the surrounding BLM lands. Mountain biking and off-highway vehicles are also permitted, however you must stay on existing roads and trails. NOTE: Site is primarily suited for tent campers. Large RVs not recommended.
