Highline Lake State Park

Highline Lake State Park consists of two beautiful lakes at the park, one designated for water-skiers and boaters, and the other for wakeless boating only. Great fishing can be found at both lakes. The lake is also a stopping point for thousands of migrating waterfowl each year, including the Great blue heron, white pelicans and whooping crane. Lastly, the park is popular spot for hikers and bikers, with its five multi-use trails, including the lake-bordering Highland Lake Trail. Highline Lake is also very close to the Kokopelli and North Fruita trail systems.
