Crested Butte Colorado - Hiking

Crested Butte is situated right in the center of the Elk and West Elk Mountain Ranges, with several of Colorado's highest peaks and thousands of acres of backcountry. Dozens of loops, ridge trails, and peak ascents start within miles of town. More hiking options exist farther south in the area near Gunnison.
