Description

The Western Rim Trail is located in the Rabbit Valley area south of Fruita. Western Rim Trail is not very technical, with few obstacles for riders to deal with, but is a long desert ride. This trail is an excellent choice for riders who are fit but may not have the skill set to ride some of the more difficult trails in the Fruita area.<,/p>

From the Western Rim Trail runs along the rim of a mesa, making for expansive views of the surrounding mesas, desert geology and flora. There are numerous dirt roadways in the area so route finding can get tricky. A trail map is suggested, which can easily be found in Fruita.
