Description

Section 16 Trail, located in the Pikes National Forest, features intermediate and advanced level singletrack through pine forest. Sections of great singletrack are mixed with loose rock and gravelly sections, adding to the technicality of the trail.

Section 16 Trail is best known for its downhill, featuring excellent singletrack and one larger drop, which can be portaged with a quick hike-a-bike. Views from Section 16 trail are grand, with expansive views toward Pikes Peak (Elevation 14,155 feet).

Section 16 Trail is very close to several other great rides in the area. Section 16 Trail can easily be combined with these other trails to increase trail length and ride time.
