Description

The trail follows a small creek and fishing is available for brook trout. The trail is steep in some locations but well worth the trek to timberline. Mount White is located to the south of the trail and Mount Antero (14, 269 feet) is located on the northern side of Little Browns Creek.

Lightning is common at high elevations. As you move toward timberline, watch for changing weather conditions. Thunderstorms can gather rapidly during the afternoon hours. If a storm is approaching consider moving down to a lower elevation to avoid lightning and other related hazards.
