Description

This Campground is located southwest of Pueblo near Lake Isabel in the Wet Mountains. The elevation is 8,800 feet. One of three campgrounds within Lake Isabel Recreation Area. You can camp along the banks of the St. Charles headwaters. Most of the sites are near the river among mature Douglas fir and Aspen. The road through the campground is paved. This campground is suitable for both RVs that require no hook-ups and tents.

Basic Directions
From Pueblo, go 25 miles south on interstate 25 to exit 74. Go west 18 miles on state Hwy 165. Turn into the main entrance at Lake Isabel Recreation Area. Go to Forest Road 374, second left. Follow the sign to the campground.
