This is home to thousands of living animals called invertebrates, which represent 97% of all animal species. Our collection represents nearly every habitat on earth!

Explore the Wings over the Tropics' winding paths, where over 1,200 butterflies flutter around you in a tropical rainforest.

Hold a friendly tarantula in the palm of your hand in the Crawl-A-See-Em.

Touch sea stars, sea anemonae and other sea creatures at the Water's Edge.

Tropical Odyssey is a new interactive exhibit that allows you to experience an incredible journey in conservation as you follow the life a butterfly from South America to the Butterfly Pavilion. Along the way you’ll learn about the butterfly’s life cycle, butterfly farming and rainforest conservation. The odyssey includes 12 different engaging activities including a zip line!
The exhibit is included with admission and is open now through August 2011.
