Description

Moore Fun Trail is a short singletrack loop in the Kokapelli Trail area outside Fruita. Moore Fun Trail is very busy, featuring tight rock chokes, switchbacks and rock ledges along its length. Due to the amount of obstacles in the trail, walking certain sections is probably necessary.

There are two ways to approach a ride on Moore Fun. From West to East features a steep hard climb to start and then a winding downhill. From East to West is a more gradual climb with a steep downhill. Since riders are coming from both directions, visitors here should be prepared to meet parties on their ascent or descent along the way.

Once riders have reached the top of the initial climb on Moore Fun and gained the top of the mesa, there are excellent views to other mesas and of the Colorado River. The downhill can be rocky and technical and riders should keep an eye out for rock cairns along the way to ensure they are still on the official trail.

Visit Page, Arizona Visit Page, Arizona Visit Page, Arizona
Some places are famous. Others are vast. Page, Arizona is your doorway to both — and the Center of the Grand Circle of National Parks. Begin with the icons that earned the world’s attention: Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, and Antelope Canyon. Then stay longer. From here, guided journeys into Navajo Nation reveal landscapes shaped by culture and story. Rainbow Bridge rises from the canyon floor. Vermilion Cliffs glow at sunset. Buckskin Gulch winds for miles. Grand Staircase-Escalante unfolds to the north, while Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon lie within reach. Page itself is intentionally small. What surrounds it is anything but. Choose guided adventure or quiet exploration. Seek luxury or solitude. Return each evening to comfortable lodging, thoughtful dining, local shops, breweries, and golf with unforgettable views. This is not just a stop along the way. It is the place to begin — at the Center of the Grand Circle of National Parks.
