Basic Directions

From Grand Junction, drive west on Grand Avenue which turns into Broadway, cross two bridges, at the next stop light turn left onto Monument Road. Turn left at "D" Road. Follow D road until it ends at a fork in the road, turn right on to Little Park Road. Follow Little Park Road until it meets up with DS Road, turn left on to DS Road to the Glade Park Store, at the Glade Park Store turn right on to 16.5 Road drive .5 miles to BS Road, turn left, it's another 14 miles to the trailhead.

Description

Within the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness, this trail offers access to rims of Jones Canyon and open expanses of the mesa tops with beautiful views of the canyons below. The trail will not take you to the floor of Jones Canyon. NOTE: Jones Canyon Trail is part of the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness, motorized and mechanized travel is prohibited on the trail.
