Literally hundreds of trails explore the Front Range of the Rockies west of Denver. Hikers can also explore the dozens of parks spread throughout the region, and the miles of designated hiking trails near the Platte River or various local lakes and reservoirs.

Crater Lakes Trail Intermediate

The trail climbs steeply to the two main Crater Lakes.
Creek Bottom Trail Easy

Takes hikers along Cherry Creek and past a waterfall at Castlewood Canyon.
