Rafting Trips
- Scenic Rafting - Our Scenic trip is an ideal introduction to rafting Colorado whitewater!
Great for first-timers, families (kids 7 and up) and groups, this 4 mile stretch will whisk you alongside Idaho Springs with wildlife viewing possibilities between splashes from Class II-III whitewater. You can purchase a trip by individual, or rent the whole boat for a group of friends! - Thrill Seeker - Our Thrill Seeker trip combines the bigger waves and face splashing action of class III-IV whitewater with the scenic stretch. Appropriate for adventurous groups, previous paddlers and kids 14 and older.
- Double-Dip - We start the day by running the Scenic section to get into the flow of the river. After a delicious lunch, we gear up and run the Thrill Seeker section of the river. It’s a full day of action and adventure -14 miles in all! Recommended for previous paddlers and kids 14 and older.
- Adrenaline Junky - The Adrenaline Junky continues where most people leave off. After practicing maneuvering and rescue drills on the Scenic and Thrill Seeker portions of the upper river, we launch into the canyon for 4 miles of class IV-V mayhem. Not for the feint of heart or anyone under 16 years old. Strong swimming skills and previous rafting experience required.
