Turkey Springs Mountain Biking Trail

The Turkey Springs trail is an easy loop through the rolling San Juan foothills west of Pagosa Springs. The route is mostly dirt road and double track. This ride can easily be extended to a 15 mile loop by continuing farther south on Newt Jack Road.

From Pagosa Springs, drive north on Piedra Road for 8 miles. Turn left onto Turkey Springs Road. Begin the loop at the intersection with Newt Jack Road. The shorter loop may be taken by turning right at each major trail junction. To take the longer loop, continue south past the intersection with North Pagosa Boulevard, turning right on Brockover Road and continuing north to Turkey Springs Road again.
