Sterling Colorado - Introduction
Sterling is a quiet town on the northeastern plains of Colorado,
situated on the South Platte River. With few nearby tourist
attractions, residents enjoy a tranquil rural life and provide
services to travelers on the interstate. The several thousand students
at Northeastern Junior College lend a youthful air to the community,
and residents and visitors alike enjoy the waters of North Sterling
Reservoir just a short drive from town.
Sterling is located along Interstate 76, about 120 miles northeast
of Denver.
