Sangre De Cristo Mountains Colorado Travel Information

A number of trails are available in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, including peak trails to 10 of the state's "fourteeners" (peaks over 14,000 feet high). Many of the routes are for advanced climbers only; consult the trail descriptions below or a guidebook to determine if a given trail is within your difficulty level.

Venable Trail provides access to Venable Falls, Venable Lakes and the Phantom Terrace.
