Roof of the Rockies / Long Mountain Biking Trails

These two routes from the top of the Zephyr Chair Lift at Winter Park Resort may be ridden seperately, or together. The Roof of the Rockies Loop meanders through three miles of high mountain forest before returning to the top of the lift. The climbs are short but difficult due to the high altitude (varying from 10,500 to 11,000 feet). The Long Trail is a gradual descent from the top of the lift back to the resort parking area, passing through more beautiful scenery on a well-maintained singletrack.
