 Some More Things to Know

Kokopelli Singletrack - This spring/fall tour begins just outside the town of Fruita, Colorado, a hot "gotta ride" spot for singletrack enthusiasts and rated as a top destination by BIKE Magazine. Traversing the rock rims above the Colorado River, the sometimes technical and narrow trails climb and descend through high desert terrain. For the first two days we'll explore exciting routes on the famous Kokopelli Trail. After spending our second night on the banks of the Colorado, we'll cross the Grand Valley to spend the last day in a singletrack playground nestled beneath the Bookcliffs.

Crested Butte Singletrack and Foliage Inn - "The Butte" is one of the best places you will ever ride, period. This is the place to experience pristine singletrack that has been featured in bike magazines since the inception of the Pearl Pass ride in 1976. Our trail choices are longtime favorites including Paradise Divide and Teocalli Ridge. You'll view mountain peaks in every direction as well as the best wildflower show in Colorado. Our camp each day is beside a roaring creek offering fishing opportunities. Elevations range from 9,000 to 12,000 feet with mileage ranging from 17-30 miles a day. Plan an extra day or two to take in one of the many summer festivals and to explore the picturesque town of Crested Butte. We now invite you to experience Crested Butte's gorgeous fall foliage with daily rides through golden aspen trees and evenings spent in a comfortable inn with great food and comraderie. This trip is a wonderful way to ride admidst the fall colors without spending the cooler nights out.

Durango's Colorado Trail - Durango's Colorado Trail Tour combines some of the best continuous technical singletrack there is and defines backcountry mountain biking. If you're looking for the most extreme guided mountain biking tour, you've found it. Elevations are high, between 9,000 and 12,000 feet and the views are amazing with the entire San Juan range expanding before you. Rewarding your effort is the final day's "kick ass" 5,000-foot descent. The views include gorgeous basins of wildflowers with backdrops of red mountains, deep green forests and alpine lakes. Our 5-day trip adds the classic Hermosa Creek Trail as a great warm-up ride.

Durango's Intermediate Singletrack - Durango has one of the best mountain bike trail systems anywhere and our new "Intermediate Tour" will showcase awesome riding at lower elevations that our Colorado Trail trip. We'll ride each day from a basecamp on premier singletrack trails in beautiful aspen and pine forests, reaching heights that display the full grandeur of the San Juan mountains. Highlights will include the Hermosa Creek Trail and an all day descent to Junction Creek.
