This is a scenic trail following Peru Creek up a pretty drainage area. Several old mining ruins can be seen along the route. Towards the end, the trail becomes steeper and more difficult as it rises to a ridge at 11,000+ feet.

Basic Directions
From Dillon, head east through Keystone and turn right on Montezuma Road. After about four miles the road crosses the Snake River; the trailhead and a parking lot are on the left immediately after the crossing.
