This trail is both physically and technically challenging, climbing up the slopes of Horsetooth Mountain and plunging down steep singletrack. From the trail are scenic views of Horsetooth Reservoir, with Fort Collins and the plains of eastern Colorado spread out below.

Basic Directions
From Fort Collins, take College Avenue north for 6.3 miles. Turn left onto County Road 52E and follow the signs for Lory State Park. The route begins at the guard station, so you can park your car outside of the park.
