Medano Pass 4WD Road

Think Great Sand Dunes National Park and you may think of nothing but dunes, but there are oases in this patch of desert and this road accesses one of them. Ascend into 10,000' elevation, while you pass through trees and over creek. Note that the creek crossings can be dangerously tricky in the spring, but fall is all around gorgeous.
