Kessel Run

Kessel Run is a short, fast and narrow singletrack trail, most popular as an addition to the end of longer rides in the 18 Road area of Fruita. The trail resembles a bobsled course, with tight twists, berms, and humps, even a couple of jumps.

Kessel Run is best approached as a one-way affair. Downhill traffic can become busy on Kessel Run, so riding uphill here is not really an option. The trail is best accessed via the Prime Cut Trail or as a finale to other rides in the area.

 Some More Things to Know

Kessel Run is multi-use, so riders may encounter other users and should follow right of way protocol. It is suggested that riders frequent this area in the early morning during the summer months due to heat. In addition, riders should be prepared with a stocked repair kit, a first aid kit and extra water.
