Jones Hole Road

If you like pictographs and lots and lots of natural color, this is a road to travel. This road travels a narrow, high-walled canyon and you'll want to stop off by the Jones Hold National Fish Hatchery to explore Jones Creek and Fremont Indian pictographs.

Location: Starts 4 miles east of Vernal and crosses Diamond Mountain Plateau to Dinosaur National Monument

Time to Allow: 2 hours
Season: Drivable year round, though can become impassable in winter
