We are located 95 miles northwest of Denver International Airport and 35 miles west of Fort Collins, Colorado. We are a quiet riverside retreat located on the banks of the majestic Cache La Poudre River, a nationally recognized Wild & Scenic River and easily accessible from highway 14 a designated Scenic and Historic Byway Indian Meadows Retreat has been a haven for families and friends since 1927. The 612,000 acre Roosevelt National Forest surrounds us and provides exceptional outdoor recreational activities all year round. Fishing
At Indian Meadows wild trout waters are managed so enthusiasts have the opportunity to fish for wild trout. In the Poudre canyon there are 70 miles of river and numerous lakes where anglers can catch Rainbow, Brown, Golden, and Lake trout. All around.
Hiking
Numerous trails begin in the canyon. Try Gray Rock, Hewlett Gulch, Young Gulch, Mount McConnell, Dadd Gulch, Roaring Creek, Big South, Emmaline Lake and Stormy Peaks to name a few. 1/2 mile to 20 miles.
