Idaho Springs - Offroad - ATV

ATV Information

Argentine Pass		Beginner	9 miles	1.5 hours

	This is a relatively easy road that leads up to Argentine Pass, over 13,000 feet high and along the Continental Divide. During spring, the high alpine meadows are full of wildflowers, and the view from the top is most impressive.

Bill Moore Lake		Difficult	6 miles	1 to 1.5 hours

	This short but very pretty route leads up to Bill Moore Lake, with spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

Caribou Flats		Intermediate	11 miles	1 to 2 hours

	The Caribou Flats road climbs to a network of old mining roads on a lovely open plateau with fine views both up to the mountains and down over the plains.

Jenny Creek Trail	Intermediate	2 to 3 hours

Kingston Peak		Intermediate	7 miles	2 to 3 hours

	This road climbs through some steep forested terrain, before rising above treeline and crossing alpine tundra with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Mammoth Gulch		Beginner	8 miles	1 to 1.5 hours

	The Mammoth Gulch Road is fairly easy and not very steep, providing access to good fishing and camping sites.

Moffat Road		Beginner	26 miles	2 to 3 hours

	Moffat Road is a rough 2WD road following an old railroad grade towards the Continental Divide and the collapsed Needles Eye Tunnel.

Spring Creek Trail		Intermediate

Waldorf Trail		Beginner Intermediate
