High Country Rafting

Welcome to High Country Rafting!

2009 season - Open the end of April to the first of October.

Come celebrate our 20th anniversary with us and embark on one of our many adventures in Utah's "post-card" Provo Canyon, home to Robert Redford's Sundance Resort. Whether you're part of a small group looking for a private family excursion or a large corporate group in need of a custom adventure, we can do it! We love spending time in the great outdoors and look forward to creating fun-filled memories with you.

Our seasoned guides and staff will assist you in making a safe, enjoyable trip everyone will appreciate. Shuttle service is available from the Salt Lake, Park City and Provo areas for groups up to 200.

Take a rafting trip down one of Utah's "postcard" canyons, flanked by 12,000 ft. Mount Timpanogos and Big Cascade Mountain, home of Robert Redford's 'Sundance Resort'. We offer mild whitewater trips (class II) down the Provo River for people of all ages. You'll enjoy the unbelievable scenery in Provo Canyon, abundant birds and river wildlife, with exciting trips under historic train bridges, and just enough whitewater to splash but not soak you. We strive to keep group sizes small, generally 4-6 people in a raft. Our two hour river rafting trips include: state-of-the-art rafts, life vests, friendly guides and complimentary soft drinks. Trips are generally 1.5 to 2 hours long depending on water flow. Our guides are CPR and first-aid certified and work to help everyone have a safe, enjoyable trip. Your welcome to paddle along or just sit back and relax. Please indicate when you check-in that you want a "paddle" boat.

New for 2009! Sunset tours with Western BBQ and Full-Moon trips Monday-Friday

Located less than 40 minutes away, it is also the closest rafting outfit to both Park City and Salt Lake City.

If kayaking is more your style, High Country Rafting offers inflatable 1 and 2 person kayak trips along the same route.

Perhaps you'd like to fish instead? High Country will take you to spots that teem with thousands of fish. The Provo River is one of the top ten rivers in the country for fly-fishing. With experienced guides, you'll raft down to some of the best fishing spots on the river. All necessary fishing gear, waders, and even lunch are provided.
