Heaton Bay Campground

Heaton Bay Campground is on Dillon Reservoir. It is located between Dillon and Frisco off of the Dillon Dam Rd. Reservation sites are found on the B and D Loops. All other loops are First-come, First-serve.

Heaton Bay has one handicapped accessible site located at Loop B, Site 10. There is an handicapped accessible toilet adjacent to the campsite.

 Directions

Directions from Silverthorne: Go 4 miles west on I-70 to Frisco, Exit 203. Turn left at the exit, cross the highway overpass, then turn left onto the Dillon Dam Road. Go northeast for 1 mile to the campground located on the right (east) side of the road.

Directions from Vail: Travel 27 miles east on I-70 to the second Frisco exit (#203). Turn right at the exit, then turn left onto the Dillon Dam Road. Go northeast for 1 mile to the campground located on the right (east) side of the road.

Directions from Beaver Creek: Travel 36 miles east on I-70 to the second Frisco exit (#203). Turn right at the exit, then turn left onto the Dillon Dam Road. Go northeast for 1 mile to the campground located on the right (east) side of the road.
